As many of you know, my brother Peter has lived and worked independently for most of his adult life. That would not have been possible without tons of support and advocates along the way. My mom led the charge and navigated for Peter in ways that were way ahead of their time. I run for them ... and, in hopes that others will have the necessary resources to live their best lives. While not on a relay team this year, I am running the 5K on Saturday and will be there on Sunday to volunteer. It will be a busy and rewarding weekend.
